Living to…

LEARN. ACT. SERVE. TRAIN.

Living To Last.jpeg

LEARN what you don’t know. ACT on what you do know. SERVE with what you have. TRAIN others along the way.

Building a brotherhood through training for and responding to the physical needs of the overlooked.

WHO WE ARE

A Christian non-profit organization that equips men, of different ages and backgrounds, to embrace the charge of tangibly making a difference for members of our communities who are often overlooked.

We do this through:

Service Projects – We call men of all ages together to physically step in the gap for the overlooked in our communities.

Workshops – Hands-on learning opportunities for men of different ages to learn various skills that broaden their capacity to be assets to their families and communities. It could be anything from learning how to frame a wall and window, to how to fix a mower.

Shoe Box Ministry

Shoe Box Ministry

We look to help a cherished organization by collecting items, throughout the year, in order to be ready for the Shoe Box Ministry in November. This year, we want to offer three specific ways to contribute before we send our boxes overseas.

  • Collection: We will have a jar in our main entrance to collect cash donations, such as loose change, or small dollar amounts, that will go to the purchase and sending of shoe boxes.

  • Recycling: We will collect any bottles and cans in order to redeem them and use these funds in order to help purchase items for the O.C.C. program.

  • Donation: We will look to alert our congregation about items we need such as wash cloths, soaps, dolls, clothes, etc. These will be stored until our ultimate Packing Party in the fall.

You can contact Sharon Horne with any questions throughout the year.
